On 6th December 2025, Dr Rodney Chu was invited as a featured speaker at the IEEE TALE 2025 K-12 Student Workshop, held at Macao Polytechnic University. Dr. Chu delivered an inspiring presentation titled “Youngsters’ Concern on the Future: EdTech Application for Societal Betterment.” Joining him at the workshop were student representatives from various Hong Kong secondary schools, who showcased their innovative projects alongside him. This event provided a valuable platform for young talents to demonstrate how educational technology can be applied to address real-world societal challenges, while fostering cross-regional academic exchange and empowering the next generation of changemakers.
