On 9th December 2025, Dr Rodney Chu represented the Department of Applied Social Sciences (APSS) at the Education Transformation and Innovation (ETI) Salon held at PolyU. During the event, Dr. Chu shared his insights on innovative education, specifically highlighting the integration of artificial intelligence through the implementation of “VAT 2.0” in his teaching. His presentation demonstrated how cutting-edge AI technologies can be actively embedded within university curricula to enhance student learning, spark pedagogical innovation, and pave the way for the future of higher education.
