On 17th April 2026, Dr Rodney Chu visited the University of Toronto in Canada to establish an exciting international academic collaboration with Professor Ka Tat Tsang of the Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work. Professor Tsang is the instructor of the highly popular Coursera course, “The Arts and Science of Relationships: Understanding Human Needs.” During the visit, the two scholars collaborated on integrating Dr. Chu’s innovative AI chatbot, VAT (Virtual Assistant for Teaching), into the Coursera curriculum. This cross-institutional initiative leverages advanced AI technology to enhance global online education, providing online learners with a more interactive, personalized, and engaging learning experience.
