On November 25, 2024, the CSD team had the pleasure of hosting a guided visit for distinguished guests from Tohoku University, Japan. The visit provided an opportunity to showcase PolyU’s and APSS’s (Department of Applied Social Sciences) cutting-edge technological innovations in social sciences pedagogies.
During the visit, the guests engaged in hands-on experiences with state-of-the-art equipment, including the immersive interactive technology featured in the CAVE (Cave Automatic Virtual Environment). These technologies demonstrated how immersive and interactive tools can enhance teaching and learning in the social sciences.
This meaningful exchange not only highlighted PolyU’s commitment to advancing educational technologies but also laid a strong foundation for potential future collaborations between PolyU and Tohoku University in the areas of teaching and learning innovation.
