On 8th November 2024, students from the APSS2S05 course, under the guidance of Dr. Mable Cheng, participated in a dynamic service learning session at the APSS CAVE. Partnering with staff from the CSD, they designed and facilitated engaging activities for secondary school students from Wu York Yu Memorial College. Highlights included the presentation of thought-provoking social-science-related VR videos and interactive VR bowling games, which provided a unique opportunity for hands-on learning and collaboration. This initiative not only enriched the educational experience for the participants but also fostered a sense of community engagement through innovative technology.
